At TC Timberworks Tom specializes in the design and manufacture of bespoke, high quality, hand crafted furniture, using mainly Scottish and imported timbers.
Tom's focus is on the individual design and construction of bespoke furniture, specific to each individual client’s requirements, using traditional cabinet making skills combined with a modern design approach. Focus on details, timeless design and high quality construction and materials is paramount.
Tom is a keen archer and has combined his interest in traditional bows and his skills as a woodworker to make an elm long bow and flat bow for the exhibition. Wych elm was widely used in the past for bow making but surviving elm bows are very rare. Tom’s bows will be working bows not ornaments and he intends to demonstrate his archery skills at the exhibition launch.
